Following his sensational Tchaikovsky season at the London Coliseum, thrilling audiences but dividing critics, Olivier award-winning choreographer and director Peter Schaufuss comes to the Bloomsbury Theatre for the first time with his Hamlet inspired dance drama.
Described on its premiere in Germany as a ‘magnificent experience’ and ‘one of the years great cultural events’ (F.A. Germany), it has gone onto achieve great acclaim around Europe - this will be its UK premiere.
To a specially conceived and mastered sound track including excerpts from Shakespeare's Hamlet by Sir John Gielgud and a musical score from one of Denmark’s most famous composers: Rued Langgaard provides the context for this heart wrenching drama.
'Schaufuss is fast developing into one of our great classical ballet creators.'
